1.  NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD / SING GLORY ©

Words & Music by Robert Lowry 1876; Refrain Sing Glory © 2020:  Words, music and arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo; Bass, Marty Silver; BGV, Carl Gurbisz; Mixed by Plink Giglio.

This song was my first hymn to re-create for this CD.  A great hymn with the gospel message.  My original chorus flowed very easily from the most quoted New Testament verse, that "God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."  Hallelujah!

 2.  ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS NAME / PROCLAIM THAT NAME ©

Words by Edward Perronet & John Rippon (last verse) 1787; Music by James Ellor 1838; Refrain Proclaim That Name © 2020 :  Words, music and arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo; Mixed by Plink Giglio

My chorus "Proclaim that Name!"  was inspired by Isaiah 12:4  “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His Name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his Name is exalted.  5 Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world.  6 Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”

3.  YOU ARE WITH ME ©

© 2017 Words, music and arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo; Drums, Pat Yates, BGV Carl Gurbisz, Liz & Rosie Yates; Guitar, Walt Graczyk; Bass, Marty Silver; Mixed by JR Sansone.  For more song information, please visit the You Are With Me tab.

4.  WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS / HE LOVES ME SO

Words by Joseph Scriven, 1855; Music by Charles Converse 1868; Refrain He Loves Me So Arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo 2020; Mixed by Plink Giglio

When I decided to record this favorite of hymns, I had written a totally different chorus that took a while to work out the details.  When I finally sat down to record it, the chorus of He Loves Me So, very similar to Jesus loves me, came to me and I went with it.  My hope it that it will remind you how much Jesus loves you, and that we ought to bring everything to Him in prayer, for He loves us so!

5.  HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW

Words by Civilla Martin; Music by Charles Gabriel; Arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo; BGV Dave Miller; Mixed by JR Sansone

May you be encouraged in the simplicity of this hymn how much God loves you, knows you and cares for you!

6.  TO GOD BE THE GLORY

Words by Fanny Crosby; Music by William Doane 1875; Arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo; Bass, Marty Silver; BGV vocals Carl Gurbisz;  Mixed by Plink Giglio

While trying to come up with a plan for a totally different hymn, To God Be the Glory was on the next page of my hymnal.  Very quickly I realized the plan I had for this other hymn, was a perfect plan for To God Be the Glory!  Such a worshipful hymn with the gospel message and outstanding words!  I hope Fanny Crosby likes my interpretation of her great hymn!

7.  CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS / KING OF GLORY ©

Words by Matthew Bridges 1851; Vs 2 by Godfrey Trhing 1874; Music by George Elvey 1868; Refrain King of Glory © 2020: Words, Music and arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo; Drums, Pat Yates; Bass, Marty Silver; BGV Liz and Rosie Yates; Mixed by JR Sansone

Loving the words of this great hymn, I was excited to record it.  This chorus was inspired by Psalm 24:8 "Who is this King of Glory, the Lord, strong & mighty! "

8.  I STAND AMAZED

Words and Music by Charles Gabriel 1905; Arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo 2020; Mixed by JR Sansone

Another one of my favorite hymns that has the gospel message in it, along with praising His "mah - velous" love!

 9.  MY JESUS I LOVE THEE / BLESSED JESUS

Words by W.R. Featherston; Music by A.J. Gordon 1876; Blessed Jesus (Savior, Like a Shephard Lead Us) by Dorothy Thrupp 1836; Music by William Bradbury 1859; Arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo 2020; Bass, Marty Silver; Mixed by JR Sansone

Had the idea to blend these two hymns when preparing to lead a worship service.  My Jesus I love Thee needed a chorus, and Savior, Like a Shephard Lead Us filled the bill.  I took the liberty to add an original verse at the end, and I hope you enjoy.

 10.  JUST AS I AM / I COME ©

Words by Charlotte Elliott 1834; Music by William Bradbury, 1849; Refrain I Come © 2020:  Words, music and arrangement by Mary Beth DiAngelo; Mixed by Plink Giglio

A timeless classic that I was invited to sing at a funeral.  At that time, I didn't have the chorus yet, but I believe God had given me a vision for the song.  I hope you enjoy.

The arrangement for this song was inspired from a band I played with called Roadkill Redemption.  Another timeless classic that I often have the opportunity to sing in the senior communities I visit.

Isaiah 12:4

“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His Name!

make known among the nations what he has done

and proclaim that his Name is exalted!
