AT YOUR FEET

What amazing God we serve! Because of our wonderful Savior, the Lord Jesus, let us continue in the faith, enduring to the end, seeking after Him, abiding in Him and fixing our eyes on Him. May we all be found at His feet, each day, receiving from Him all the blessings He promises to those who truly seek after Him! "But seek 1st the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you." Mt 6:33

The Lord inspired me with this song on my drive home from a conference in Nashville in November, 2022. While there, my friend Sarah Wilcox shared a vision she had with me and wondered if I could write a song around it. Her vision is detailed below. I told her I didn't think I could write one, but I would ask the Lord if He would give me a song. Then while praying on my drive home, and contemplating her vision along with the scripture the Lord gave Sarah, Psalm 140:7 "You covered my head in the day of battle," the Lord gave me this song, "At Your Feet." Upon arriving home, I checked my bible to confirm with scripture the rest of the song I believe I received from the Lord.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Ephesians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world,

Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Sarah's Vision, as she recorded it: Jesus hand, my head 2019 I was at Grace on Sunday morning during worship. I was taken before Jesus sitting on His throne. I was on the floor leaning against Jesus' left leg. I was looking up at him. Then I turned my head away and laid my head on his knee. Then he put His hand on my head. A few days later I got together with Janet for our first prayer time. She asked me if I had a verse to open us up with. I said no but was flipping through Psalms and asking the Lord what I was supposed to read when I stopped at Psalm 140 as I was reading out loud. I came to verse 7 and began to cry. I told Janet That's what Jesus did. He put his hand on my head in the time of battle.

The Lord has blessed me with so many good friends! Much thanks to: Jesus, my wonderful Savior, for saving me and for giving me so much to sing about!
